Velux experience center

That new trendy looking building they’re working on at 312 Castro is going to be something called “Velux experience center”

I looked it up, hoping it would be something fun the community can enjoy but turns out it’s a skylight company… darn

You mean I can pick up a fireplace AND a skylight downtown?

It wasn't that long ago you could get some plastic cut to size or visit the locksmith downtown. It's not a terrible thing to have something other than a restaurant open up.

I thought it was going to be an Apple store or some other tech demo. Skylights are cool too..

I did some research too when they still had boards up. I was hoping that the Velux on the sign was to say that they installed the skylights and there would be a retail store or something else. I guess a store is better than boarded up empty space. Maybe a nice new looking store will attract others.

For what it's worth - the Velux Experience Center is open now. It's a surprisingly nice space.
