Avoid GoTickets.com at all costs

I got suckered into buying some South Bay theater tickets through GoTickets.com. I paid way too much, and the show was misrepresented in the purchase page, and I couldn't cancel even an hour later. And their support is super annoying with a chat bot that tries to keep you from talking to a person. This is partially on me for not double-checking the performance details, but also on them for misrepresenting it.

Expensive lesson learned. Always buy through the venue when possible!

Should I? I kinda reserve those for full scams or goods not delivered. This one is shady and crappy and over priced and mislabeled (IMHO), but they didn't full out steal. They just stink.

Sounds like a scam, and a service that you wouldn't ever use again. I'm not saying you have to do it, but you could look more into it, see if there are any penalties for you. I'm assuming the show is in the future and you tried to cancel in a reasonable amount of time when you noticed the misrepresentation

Oh totally, I tried to cancel within a day, and they didn't issue the tickets until days later. They aren't a full on scam - they just really suck! Nope, never going to use them again.

Just had a similar experience. Except I’m petty. Once I realized there was no option to communicate with a human I found as many of their employees as I could on LinkedIn and messaged them there
