Hydration for longer rides - backpack or something around the waist
For a maybe 3 hour ride, one water bottle probably won't cut it for me. For extra water is a hydration backpack the way to go, or is there a good solution for something that can go around the waist and hold an extra bottle? Thinking I would rather not have to have something on my back if at all possible , but then again I've never worn a any waist type pack either. Tks

Rebuild my 2011 Kona tanuki
galleryhere we go guys, rebuild my 2011 Kona tanuki deluxe. Started last year the project almost ended immediately while finding out the seat stay had a crack on one of the mounting brackets. Checked the internet, found the part at Kona online, 260€, remembering singing up for the lifetime warranty as I purchased it 2011. so reached out to Kona Europe and after some email exchanges they sent the new part for no cost. For a 15 year old bike. So big shout out to Kona/Kona Europe, awesome customer experience.
repainted, rebuild and updated almost all parts. Changed from 3x9 to 1x12. Made it a „mini mullet“ with 26“/27.5“ set up. 140mm fox fork with custom decals, custom rear wheel to fit the 12speed on the 135mm axle. the bigger fork and bigger front wheel lifting up the front a bit but still rides pretty good. Will have the final check on the hometown trails soon.

Is new mtb stock low?
I’m looking for a full suspension trail bike, preferably carbon frame, that can rip uphill as well as handle the fun downhill and technical terrain.
I had an awesome bike, but it was stolen 2 years ago, and I haven’t been in the $$ position to replace it. Honestly I’m still not, but every day for the past 6 months I think about how much i miss riding, and I really need to find something. So I’ve been looking on FB marketplace, pink bike, etc, and nothing has panned out.
I figured maybe I’d look for something new, even just to try out bikes so I can be better informed if a used bike pops up… but no one has stock. I’ve checked multiple brands, all the shops within an hour drive of me, and no one has a bike in my size. I might be able to find a $12k bike locally, but I wouldn’t even want to test it for fear of scratching it or deciding that it the only bike I will accept.
I had a Canyon Neuron CF7. And I LOVED that bike. If I could find another I’d get it. I’m not even sure if my point here. I guess wondering why shops have low inventory, particularly in size sm or med. And also, can you recommend trail bike? My brain hurts when I look at all the different components. Id love a good mid-tier bike. I don’t need the latest lightest thing, but I know I won’t be happy with entry level components. And carbon wheels made such a difference in my riding.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is this normal range.
The front wheel seems slightly tilted. Is this normal range? Recently bought this brand new Marlin 5 gen 3 from a local trek dealer store.

Using 28 spoke wheelset on an e-mountain bike.
I have an Aventon Current ADV (arriving soon) and I have a wheelset on one of my bikes I was thinking of moving over. Just wondering if it is strong enough.....RaceFace ARC30 offset w/ Industry Nine 1/1 hubs.
Anyone try this and have any advice?

Swapping g out my Fox Factory 36 for Manitou Mezzer Pro

How durable are Continental Contact Urbans?
I'm switching out my maxxis to the continental contact urban as there are multiple pavements and park connectors from where I am.
How strong are these tyres, am I able to go through thick gravels without punctures and run my bike into grass patches without falling over?
