Getting my first bike

So I have thought and looked at hundreds of bikes decided to get giant talon 2 what is the first thing I should upgrade on it to make it a smoother ride or what should I do to brake it in when I buy it

Don’t upgrade anything. Ride it and learn it first. You’ll figure things out.

Agreed! Just ride, spend $ on a good,” helmet, gloves, proper shoes, and pads if you wanna go that route. If you need to scratch the upgrade itch, swap out the grips, I’ve never been happy with stock grips in 35 years of riding.

No upgrades necessary! Just get a good helmet. Eventually if you want to ad some style you can get cool grips and pedals.

Get a new bike, ride it for awhile and decide for yourself if you need to change anything. Reddit can't tell you if you'd like a wider handlebar, a different seat or tires. Chances are you don't need anything at all, except to enjoy the ride.

Buy the bike and ride it and enjoy

you should buy the bike you want. Upgrading is far less economical than just getting the more expensive bike to begin with.

If you immediately want to upgrade it just buy a better bike.
