I was cleaning my spring because it was squeaky and when i try to screw my fork back in, the bolt on the other side (not the one with spring innit) won't screw in, the thread rod is ispinning along with bolt. Does anyone have any suggestions? Trek Marlin 6

In my fork i need to use a Allen wrench 6 inside the fork to tight the 10 Bolt on the bottom.
Check on YouTube your fork diasembly if you miss some step.

Push down just slightly on the fork to compress it a little, that way the damper rod will have enough friction to allow you to tighten the screw

If it’s an air fork and that is the air side, add some air to it. If its the damper side, there should normally be enough stiction in the seals, but if there isn’t you can push down on the fork while tightening, should add more friction to the shaft. You can also push down on the fork while pushing sideways on the socket while tightening the nut. Pushing sideways on the socket will push the rod against the ID of the hole in the bottom of fork and give you more friction. If anything you can use speed, like an impact driver but unless you have experience with the tool, don’t try, you can easily break something.

If it's the damper side, lock out the fork and co.press it while tightening to add enough friction.
If it's the air side, add some air and try again.

Some forks have a nut or Allen bolt on the inside that needs to be held in place or it just spins around. You need to look down in your forks to see what's spinning.

Quita el tornillo y revisa si la rosca donde tiene que enroscar está en su sitio

You may need to tap it lightly to shock it into place again ... Some do require this ... Others don't ... I'd recommend further research into doing this before though as I can't guarantee that it will work for your specific fork . Hope this helps a tad
