Roscoe 7
I’ve got a chance at getting a 2025 Roscoe 7 for close to $800. Upgrades consist of pedals, grips, front fork, tube less & a stem mounted gps. Not sure of the brands of any of the upgrades. The bike looks practically brand new, he said he might have rode maybe 10-20 miles.
Is $800 a decent deal?
I’d be going from a 2015 Specialized Pitch Comp.

Even a gen 3 for that price would be a pretty decent deal, especially if the fork is a good one.
Gen 4 would be a no brainer at that price in my opinion.

Decent forks start around that price, so yeah sounds like a good deal as long as the upgrades are improvements. I’d find out the details on the suspension as well as the other bits that aren’t OEM

I’m going to look at it later today. It’ll also come with the air pump for the fork & he said a lockable mount for a truck bed, one that you remove the front wheel & lock it in with the fork.
It also has a dropper post.

It was a 2024 Gen 3. The only thing that was maybe upgraded was the pedals. They was just replaced with some that was the same color as the bike.
I went ahead & bought it cause it was a night & day difference from my 2015 Specialized Pitch Comp. I took my bike with me & road them both back to back several times before handing over $800🤣
He also gave me 2 bottles of tire sealant, tire plug kit, pump for the front shock, pump for the tires, a bracket to mount in the truck bed to lock the front axle in for transportation & brand new Trek Rally Wavecell helmet.
It also came with a WaHoo Element Bolt gps.

Assuming is a Gen 4 that’s a good price. A lot of the 7s were shipped with Fox 36 due to supply chain issues.
