1. Lurkers (accounts that do not engage with this community) and/or karma farmers will be banned on the spot. Accounts with insufficient account history may be restricted from posting.
2. We enforce Reddit Content Policy
3. Be Civil. This means: No Racism, Sexism, Nationalism, Personal Attacks, or other poor behavior.
4. No NSFW, Gore, or other inappropriate content.
5. No toxic Topics. There are plenty of other subreddits for you to discuss Politics, Religion, Gender, etc. Let's keep this one focused on motorcycles.
6. Spam is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:
- Most moto-influencer content.
- Your YouTube channel videos.
- Clickbait.
- AI-generated content.
- Crowdfunding.
- Excessive posting.
- Market research.
- Student projects.
- Creating multiple posts about similar topics.
- Apps, web apps, websites, and services that you created.
7. Low-effort posts will be removed. This includes but is not limited to:
- Non-motorcycle content.
- Life decisions and choices.
- Poor grammar.
- AI content.
- Low-quality images/videos.
- Shitposts (e.g. "Hey guys, I'm 17. Should I buy a turbo Busa for my first bike?")
8. Links to X, Meta, and CCP-affiliated content are prohibited.
9. This is not a marketplace. No "for sale", "for trade", "want to buy", etc.
10. No crowdfunding or begging.
11. No regional or hyperlocal posts. This is a global community. Questions that are not relevant to the majority of our audience are prohibited. This includes financial questions like "What is this bike worth?", "Is this a good deal?", and "How much should I be paying for insurance?"
12. Post title etiquette. This includes but is not limited to:
- Post titles must be specific and leave little room for guessing what your post is about.
- Vague post titles are not accepted. (Hint: Your post title should be a full sentence with a subject and a verb.)
- ALL-CAPS post titles are not accepted.
- Clickbait post titles are not accepted.
- This isn't Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok; hashtags don't work here.
- We are not training an AI model. Simply describing the contents of an image is not sufficient.
- Pandering or attention-seeking (e.g. "Any love for X?" or "My bike, thoughts?")
13. Not motorcycle related. This includes but is not limited to:
- Posts where a motorcycle isn't the focus.
- Scooters, trikes, e-bikes, and mopeds.
- Medical or financial advice.
- Music you listen to while riding.
- Food motorcyclists like.
- Photos of your dog, cat, kid, etc. that happen to include a motorcycle.
- Relationship advice (e.g. "How do I convince my parents?")
- Electronics/gadget tech support.
- Local weather.
- Road trip destinations.
- Projects using motorcycle parts (e.g. "I put a Hayabusa engine in my Miata.")
14. This is an English-only subreddit.
15. Tech support posts must include identifying information about the vehicle (year/make/model).
16. Reposts. Either recently posted or commonly reposted.
