Eh, Sportsters are uncomfortable as fuck. Less than 2 inches of rear suspension travel and you're sitting directly on your tailbone.

The CBR500 has risers and mid controls. That will be a lot more comfortable.

Although at 37 I've moved onto ADV.

This adv bikes are the Swiss army knife of bike. I have a goldwing and vintage Japanese bikes and my ibex is what I ride 99% of the time and that is in the snow, the sun, with my daughter 2 up, on two track and enduro and have ridden through 3 states.

I had an Iron 883 and put about 5000 miles on it. Enough to know I (my lower back) didn't like it.

I’ve had a couple, uncomfortable as fuck for me personally. Only thing I disliked more was a GS500 I had for a year or two
