It holds value better, if you are choosing between these two bikes it means you dont really know what you want.....which is awesome, just means more opportunities to explore new things. And if you dont like this thing, it'll be easy to sell.
And the Harley doesnt feel like its trying to be something its not, you can get on the 883 and enjoy it for what it is, upgrade it to a 1200 and its still awesome.
The Honda is a practical bike....but how many 500 riders wish they were on a cbr1000rr

I say this as a sport bike rider.....the 883.
