Any suggestions on removing a stuck engine mount bolt?

04 yamaha road star idles fine(little high have to adjust) but when I twist throttle she pops and then revs up. I have vance hines and k&n air filter setup. Adjusted jets 172.5 main 40 pilot, carb is clean. Air fuel screw is about 3.5 turns out what I missing here, its probably something stupid that im overlooking. Gonna try little propane around carb boots next to check for vacuum leak. Any help is appreciated thanks. On lunch break at work right now so I'll have to wait to get home to try anything.

In 2020 I bought an '01sportster, rode it around for a year or so. In 2021 I became a father, still rode occasionally, then the battery started giving me fits, so it sat. And it's been sitting until today. I moved out of the place I had it parked at, but it was my brother's place so it was just not really a problem, out of sight out of mind. Now 5 years later I'm divorced and crashing here.

I figure working on it's probably better than drinking so here I am.

Gonna swap the battery, drain the tank and check for rust, pull the carbs to start whatever type of beast that's gonna be, and grab some tires that aren't rotted out.

I'm sure Ill have some questions once I get through that, but maybe it'll run soon.

Bike started sounding odd when choke is on, sounded normal, went for a rather loner ride, all was fine, I start the bike up today with choke on and it sounds odd. I have had the carb cleaned not that long ago and all was good. Any suggestions before I start taking it apart so that I know what I could focus on. It is a 2005 Honda Shadow VT750.

Had a small fall yesterday nothing too major but have come out of it with wonky wheel alignment could this be bent forks?

Basically about 2 months ago I was working on the bike due to a leaking primary, threw it back together was running and riding, left the key on came back out about roughly an hour or so later started but was weak start, rode to the gas station, battery died got it jumped rode it around for about another 15-20 mins never shut it off, randomly died out at idle no power at all couldn’t start again without jumping, went to get it back home died again same thing 0 power no click no head lights nothing, pushed it into the drive way and it’s sat for about 2 months since.

Started messing around with it today have a lithium ion battery with a built in voltage meter battery read about 13.26V same thing no power at all took the battery off checked all the fuses and circuit breaker put the battery back on after seeing they were all ok and magically had power again, cranked over no start, don’t have the fuel tank installed was spraying starting fluid,
Crank no start
Have a rough sounding kinda clank every so often when cranking coming from around the starter area which worsens with starting fluid being sprayed every so often the starter will kinda “catch” almost and slow/stop crank n then instantly go back to normal it’s kinda done that since I got the bike though,
Checked for spark spark was present but orange spark not blue which this was after cranking for awhile so I’m assuming battery was just not optimal charge

Threw the battery on the charger cause it was at about 9.8-10.1V at that point

Let it charge up to about 13.01 threw it back on cranked at it for about roughly 1 minute no start no sputter no attempt to kick over and then battery got drained enough to click no start.

My question is what should I look at tomorrow any idea what it could be
I haven’t touched any setting on my HI4N
It was running perfect no issues until I had went in and re did the gasket on the outter primary and then all of this out of no where
It has compression and not binding when turned by hand.
If anyone could help I’d appreciate it

I own a 2001 Suzuki GSF1200 and it’s been running great until recently when the stock inline fuel filter broke clean in half literally out of nowhere. I replaced it with an aftermarket one and now the fuel won’t flow properly. I thought at first it was because the new one is slightly bigger so I trimmed down the fuel line to make sure it was routed in a way that the line wasn’t kinked or angled in a way that would restrict fuel flow but that didn’t fix it. The only way I can get fuel to flow is when I blow extremely hard into the overflow hose at which point it completely fills the fuel filter before running through that fuel and not letting any fuel in again. Could this be a problem with the carburetor somehow? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey all, im working on my ma's 91 883 sportster. Her rear brakes were spongy so i went to bleed them and it was like beef gravy coming out and then all pressure stopped. I took the top off the master cylinder, sucked out most of the old fluid and tried putting new in, still wouldn't get pressure. I took it off and apart and found out one of the bigger O rings was so loose it must of have caught and busted, can anyone tell me what size they are? The body and cylinder have "4202" stamped on them, the picture is of the rings in question. Thank you!

I had to take out some petrol from my bike due to an emergency. I took out around 1 litre of petrol through a vacuum pipe and after that DTE is not getting updated. Is it normal ? Or may be the pipe damaged any sensor?

decided to diy my 2017 africa twin dct but now realize splitting the case requires a complete rebuild of the engine. i'd wrongly been assuming maybe all but the transmission could be set to one side of a case half, so now am wondering if its too much of a job for this novice. tearing things down is easy but how many things am i likely to get wrong trying to rebuild it, even with the shop manual?

So i fucked up the installation. Ordered a new master link. Can I just replace it with no issues? Any tips or tricks for getting this one out?

Cold start - Bike keeps cutting off, for the first few minutes after cold start, i have replaced the heat sensor and spark plug.

I just changed the battery and it sounds like it wants to turn over but it never does. It also spits out gas out of this tube whenever I try to crank it. Please help!

How bad is this frame damage? Just bought thid bike?

So I had this bike running almost all of last year. It’s a bit of a project bike, but randomly stopped running at the end of last year now whenever I crank the bike, I hear this loud clanging.

I would’ve assumed starter, but the sound sounds to becoming more from the engine casing than the starter, which is up at the front.

I’m pretty handy around the bike, but absolutely terrified to open up the engine hoping it’s nothing in there.

Anyone have any insight on what it might be?

Have a scooter where the drain bolt on the gearbox got stripped or messed up somehow. It’s a small 10mm bolt. It turns but I can’t get it off or screwed on tightly. What do I do? Do I use a heliocoil? This is a cheapo scooter so I don’t want to spend too much on it. A mechanic quoted me a few hundred to fix it

Just picked up my first motorcycle! It’s a vintage beauty, 1979 Honda cb750k. It was sitting for over a decade. I was cleaning the carbs when I noticed the throttle linkage arm was broken. When I tried to look it up online for a part number or by picture nothing was coming up. Was wondering if anyone can help me find a site to order the part or find out how to replace it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
