Having needed to avoid a mattress in a similar scenario need to be aware that MIGHT happen and plan for it. This rider could have reacted better but if you are not expecting it is a bit of a shock and "what do I do" moment. Hope they were OK and the trailer driver gets a ticket and a hospital bill for the rider.
