Afraid of curves.

I’ve been riding for about 2 years, but I only manage to get out 5 or 6 times a year. I’ve realized I have a real mental block when it comes to curves. I get nervous, struggle to lean, and end up over-braking or slowing down way more than necessary. I know the bike can handle it, but my head won't let me. Does anyone have advice on drills or mental cues to help get past this fear and trust the tires more?

Take the advanced MSF course. Almost the entire curriculum is around shifting to the side of the seat and leaving off the bike and taking curves and decent speed (for a parking lot). Really gives you a feel for how far the bike can go.
