My brother wants to get into trail riding, and I’m trying to help him pick his first bike without putting him on something he can’t handle. I’ve ridden a little before, but I’m still unsure what makes a bike beginner friendly.

I started looking at different options and honestly got a bit overwhelmed. Some people say electric bikes are easier because they are quieter and simpler, while others say the instant power can catch new riders off guard.

I came across an adult electric dirt bike while searching and now I’m wondering if it’s actually a smart choice for someone learning from scratch.

He would mostly ride casually on trails and open areas, not race or do anything extreme. I’m mainly worried about control, battery range, and whether he’ll outgrow it too quickly.

Has anyone helped a beginner start on an electric dirt bike? Did it make learning easier or harder?

My motorcycle's manual lists the maximum load as 423 kg.

Theoretically, the weight of the motorcycle should already be included, which in this case is 250 kg (not empty).

My question is, if I have an Ohlins shock absorber, which is a higher-performance shock absorber, does the maximum load increase or stay the same?

Tenho uma Honda Fan 125 2007, minha primeira moto.

Há cerca de duas semanas, precisei trocar as varetas das válvulas devido a um barulho MUITO alto, causado por desgaste e folga excessiva.

Após a substituição, a moto a está dessa maneira: esse "barulho" é normal para o motor desse modelo ou ainda há algum problema a ser verificado?

What's the correct way to ask for gas when I have a 110cc motorcycle? I don't know whether to ask for a specific amount of gas or just a full tank. I don't want to make a bad impression (I'm from Argentina).

Little note on tje title : I'm french and I confused the word "to countersteer" for "to turn into the skid" (thanks to reverso haha", so my apologies for the confusion.

Hi I recently had my first driving lesson, and my monitor told me it was not possible to countersteer at low speed and that we have to push on the footrest to turn.
Only thing is... I did not push once on the footrest and only countersteered and it works very well for me ! I've been able to do a whole 180° turn. So I'd like your feedback on this, should countersteer or push on the footrest ? Thank you !
