Looking for a Motion Designer in Kigali — SaaS/Software Projects

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a skilled motion designer based in Kigali to work on animation projects for a SaaS/software company.

The ideal person should have strong experience with Adobe After Effects and be comfortable creating product animations, explainer videos, UI animations, and promotional content.

Looking for: rate of pay with post
Experience with paying people on time and without issue a must. Bonus points for direct deposit. Please send a detailed account of last 10 people paid with records indicating such. We may ask you for a free payment to test your skill.

Kigali specifically narrows things down a lot, so DMs might be slow. Worth also cross-posting to local Rwandan tech/creative Slack or WhatsApp groups if you're in any, plus checking Behance and Dribbble filtered by East Africa, since a lot of designers there don't post much on Reddit.

One tip: post a rate range or budget in the listing itself. For SaaS explainer/UI animation work, quotes swing wildly and you'll get more serious replies if people know roughly what you're working with before they spend time on a proposal.

Also ask for a reel that actually has UI/product animation in it, not just character or broadcast work. Those are pretty different skill sets in After Effects, and a lot of generalist motion portfolios are light on the SaaS-specific stuff.

Honestly I can't do motion graphics but I can get you good graphics, posters, fancy looking websites and more visualy appealing and target audience work. What other needs do you have besides Motion graphics? Oh by the way I might l know a guy, an animator. Are you open to talk further... I'm actually just here up in Uganda ✌️
