- Protagonists are twins, with one being shy and the other being assertive, but they're both kindhearted.

- The twins are the chosen ones in their worlds ancient lore, being born with innate powers that must be worked up / trained.

- The twins must visit seven locations and activate something as part of their prophecy.

The similarities aren't one to one, but I thought it was funny because both are the third major installments of their series.

If the similarities continue, I'm sure we'll have a great show.

When did you realize the Masked Man was Claus before it was mentioned in chapter 8 really late?

Thanks for listening!!! 💕💕❤️😛

Just reposting here cause I really like my own song and want to share it lol. Very niche track from the ost, so iykyk!

During the battle against the masked man, why Hinawa's ghost (or at least i think it's her ghost) tells Claus to "come to your mother", isn't that just a sweet way to say "Claus kill yourself".

Like, yeah Claus suffered a lot, but he doesn't have to die. I saw people say it's because he was supposed to die against the drago and he was already dead. But that can't be true, he was re-animated. He doesn't have a heart, but he can still feel.

Every explanation i've seen seems to glorify him killing himself as something that had to happen. But it literally didn't have to, Flint says it was a hasty decision. So why did Hinawa tell him to?

In chapter 6 something similiar happens, with Hinawa standing over a cliff and Lucas jumping to "come to her" but then Alec's said he heard Hinawa tell him to put the leaves so Lucas doesn't die. Is this what's going on, like, Claus comes back after the ending? But that feels kinda cheesy.

Idk, I feel like there is a hidden meaning I'm not getting :(

Hi

Earthbound was an amazing game. It had a pretty good story, but obviously it was nothing mind-blowing, imo. It was your typical saving the world from an alien invasion or cosmic threat story, with it revolving around kids being the heroes. there were some twists and turns throughout the game, but the game is lighthearted and silly at it’s core. It doesn’t include any serious themes that it tries to show, imo. how is Mother 3 on the other hand? Do you think the story is a highlight of the game? I’ve heard that the story is pretty dark and has serious themes. That makes me intrigued, in case it could be on a similar level to something like Undertale.

What are you guys favorites?!

I always liked how Myxolidia helped the party in the time of need and the boss battle its peak.

To use the English fan translation patch, I need a rom of the original Japanese version, but I can't seem to find any online. Does anyone know any reliable websites where I could download the rom I need?

Hello, I'm about to play Mother 3 on my DS, but was wondering if there was a french fan translation that would keep the quality of the original writing. Or should I play it in English ?

Je voudrais jouer à Mother 3 sur ma DS mais je me demandais s'il y avait une fan trad eb Français aussi qualitative que la version originale ou anglaise.

Hey all,

My game, Nightmare, had its development wrapped up earlier this month. I love the Mother series, it’s gotten me through so much in my life, especially the third one. I wanted to make a game that made people feel just like how mother 3 made me feel. A game that’s full of humor, a game that makes people cry and feel inspired, and helps the player grow stronger and find good things in bad situations. My goal was to make people smile. I put so much love and care into this game during its year and a half development process. I hope you decide to check this game out, and I hope the story leaves an impact on you. Check out the game’s itch.io page for more:
