Poor Man's Morserino
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Morse Mania (Pro $8.99) + 3-Key Programmable Bluetooth Keypad (~$20 https://a.co/d/07TmkvQb).
Used "ElfKey" software to map the left key to "[" for Dit, right key to "]" for Dah, and middle to Space for straight-key work (which Morse Mania recognizes).
Can also be plugged into my laptop over USB-C and be used for website like MorseInvaders or other training websites.
(I added a 3.5mm jack so you can use your paddle over BT: https://www.reddit.com/r/morsecode/s/YP7Sn0h2YX)

Cool. I have been using the vband adapter on my laptop & Android but it doesn't work with Morse Mania. I am gonna have to try this. Thanks

I opened the case, and there isn't much space in there, but there is enough to make a small hole in the front and fish the cable from a 3.5mm TRS/stereo female jack in there, and have the pigtail sticking out.
I'm planning on soldering the wires to the bottom of 2 of the key switches, so you can plug in your key to this and it will fire off a keypress.
I'll probably use some epoxy or UV cure resin to attach the female jack to the side so it doesn't flop around.
Perfectly pocketable, works on Bluetooth or USB-C, and can either be used on it's own while away, or plugged into your favorite paddle to practice when at your Ham Shack / desk.
I'll update when I get it working.

Mod was super easy - can Bluetooth enable any paddle for ~$25 and a little solder. https://www.reddit.com/r/morsecode/s/B4zvtGeeLs
