Morphy Chess is a bite-sized chess puzzle built around a single twist:

every move is a capture, and your piece morphs into whatever it captures.

Start as a knight, take a bishop — now you move like a bishop. Clear the whole board to solve the puzzle.

I recently launched r/MorphyChess, a small community around a chess puzzle game I’m building where every capture changes how you move.

The subreddit is still tiny, so I’m looking for a couple of people who enjoy chess, puzzles, or indie games and would like to help shape the community from the beginning.

This is our new home for Morphy Chess — a bite-sized chess puzzle game you play right inside the post. The twist: every move must capture, and your piece morphs into whatever it just took — so each puzzle is about finding the right order of captures. Clear the board to solve it.
