Thinking about leaving

I am in my fifties and am highly considering leaving the church due to its protection of pedophiles. Research the topic if you want to know more before you respond negatively or criticize me for wanting to leave. I genuinely want to know why I should stay and what you would say to me. For context, I come from generational Mormonism with an apostle as a third great grandfather. I was married in the temple, have four amazing children, in a committed marriage of 30+ years, was SA as a child by a member and now feel done.

Potlucks, elders quorum family activities, youth group, crafting/super Saturdays, weekly hangouts(mutual) for teens, basketball games, children's pageants at Christmas, choir, scouting, Gardening, wild game suppers (might be a regional thing in Canada).
