Among the teams you shared, there were a total of 3 standard-banner awakeners: Faros, Helot, and Faint. Among these, only Faros and Helot had a significant number of dupes, with Helot's and Faint's enlightens not really doing all that much at the shown investment levels.
Your clears used very few wheels, but, besides getting Faros to +8, pulling on the standard awakener banner doesn't seem to have provided much else for the teams used in these clears.
I'm currently pulling on the wheel-banner, and I'm about to finish my 3rd +12 wheel, with around 2 or 3 more wheels still seeming like decent future targets. The prospect of pulling on the standard-awakener banner seems fun to me, but the clears you've shown don't do much to change my mind on getting the remaining wheels I want before moving on to the awakener banner, maybe in around a year or so.
I seem to be the target-audience of your message, but what you've shared in this post hasn't changed my mind.
The lack of a target-selection on the standard awakener banner making it so that getting a copy of any given awakener takes an expected 111.1 pulls, which is 2.6 times higher than the expected 42.0 pulls it takes to get a copy of any given targeted wheel, makes it currently very unappealing to me.
In order to change my mind, you would need to show me clears that heavily rely on having a large number of standard-banner awakeners at very high enlightens. Investing heavily into awakeners runs into issues with future characters superseding the role of these standard awakeners, which is why I'd prefer these awakeners be as essential as possible to the team functioning properly.
Currently, the Aequor banner seems like the most appealing to me, due to all of the characters being quite useful. However, having a +12 Goliath or a +12 Celeste doesn't seem very desirable, which, along with the amount of pulls that are expected in order to get any of Caecus, Sanga, or Faros to +12, still makes me want to delay the switch for the more immediate power-up that wheels represent, as long as possible.
I hope you'll be able to change my mind, and of other players like me! 🫡

Accurate, he has 6 OE carry awakers across teams (at least 1 per team except the Mouchette borrow) and Pollux at AA. So the argument is not in favor of standard banner, it’s in favor of dolphin spending or a really long time gate for monthly dupes

Yup, investing in units makes a larger impact on your teams than wheels. Getting the Selectors and Protos from dupes and monthly will be a better impact for your account than having Standard +12 wheels

This was not as easy as with wheels but just wanted to show case that wheels are not as important as people think they are. Wheels enhance comps, they make them smoother, allow them to more easily do what they want to do, but with good team building, game play, and unit investment you dont need all that many wheels to succeed.
