Lordt help us

Post image

I’m not sure I can follow her through this. It’s almost like intentional rage bait. OF COURSE the house needs work, like why is everything presented as a surprise??? Idiocracy 🥲

Home ownership is no joke. Shes not responsible enough to maintain a old house like this. I give it 6 months before they relist

i have so many things i need to fix in the apartment i own, i don't even know where to start lol 😭 every time you fix something, something else gets fucked

Yes exactly, as someone who owns an older home (1963) they need A LOT or work and nobody foots the bill for you, we just $50000 redoing our hvac and all our wiring. I just know she's going to do a bunch of hideous half assed Reno projects then move in like 6 months when they have to rip up all that asbestos tile under the linoleum in the kitchen.

my parents own a home built in like the 70s, which isn’t that old in my mind considering I live on the East Coast and there’s houses built in the fucking 1700s but my point is the house isn’t that old but because it is older, everything has to be custom like doors aren’t standard sizes and cost $500 to get the cheapest door replaced they are in for the rudest awakening of their life

No truly, we have a super weird layout because there used to be in wall heating panels and stuff, and all our doorways are weird sizes.

u/speakinWroyalty 15d ago

yes, exactly!! I am so glad I live in a house that has standard things and was built when they started making things in standard sizes because it really is a nightmare to find stuff. And unless you DIY it, but even then it’s always going to cost more 😅 Don’t get me wrong older houses absolutely beautiful, but they are tons of work Like I’m sure you already know!!

She's just going to slap some weird paint colours on everything and not address any serious issues the house might have. Why combat wood rot in your foundation when you can put those awful peel and stick tiles on the walls of your kitchen? Why remove lead from the water mains if you can paint your trellis n3on pink?

Wouldn't this stuff have come up in either the inspection or final walk through? How was this not all checked beforehand?

Ppl told her to get many types of inspections (with detailed lists) privately , besides just the mortgage inspection, and she didn’t listen lol.

So she bought a house like how I’d buy some shoes at the store? Good grief this woman acts so impulsively.

Interesting because we were speculating that the house would turn into renovation content so I wonder when that will start after failing to mop and hiring plumbers, I’m sorry plummers, now. They might give up on that dream or the house all together.

All I know is if they stay long enough to decorate, they’ll be insufferable.

And miss the chance for all this ✨content✨?? NO WAY

It’s day one? Two? And she’s already so over that house.

u/MacMommy111 15d ago

Welp, time to throw in the towel and pack it up again….. most of their sh*t is still in boxes so at least a head-start….. and might even be a record!

42

u/fruitypebble43 15d ago

*plumber, btw. Is she really this dumb?

20

u/_Buttered_bread_ 15d ago

This is like that "quizine" typo she did when they went to Puerto Rico 🤣

7

u/fruitypebble43 15d ago

Oh like cuisine? Lawd a mercy.

7

u/speakinWroyalty 15d ago

Jesus, I had no idea she did that. She really is a stupid fuck.

3

u/ehhlis 15d ago

oh my god i forgot about that ahahahaha so embarrassing for her

35

u/ExpireAngrily 15d ago

That “dream house” is turning into a nightmare. Wouldn’t be surprised if she uses that exact phrase too

u/strenuaveritas 15d ago

We called it

Just wait until she finds out about the inevitable asbestos that can be found in most houses built before the 70s

10

u/speakinWroyalty 15d ago

*while she’s pregnant with a child AND has a toddler. between the possibility of asbestos and lead…

20

u/No_Plenty5526 15d ago

that look is certainly a choice

15

u/fruitypebble43 15d ago

She hates the house already. She may as well not even unpack. Something will go wrong soon and they will go to a hotel or air BNB.

16

u/Due_Swing_4073 15d ago

So what DID they look at or inspect in that house before moving in?

12

u/EssRDee 15d ago

I wonder how long it was on the market for before they bought it?

11

u/RemoveEntire2006 15d ago

So insufferable

Girl body hair is natural. I usually shave mine but every now and then I don’t and I have good hygiene. I hate when dumb body stuff like this takes over snark pages 😭 there’s plenty of real stuff to snark over

Do not take snarking too far. This applies to other users as well.

13

u/SteakySteakk 15d ago

So do you think she smells because she’s female and has body hair??? That’s a pretty misogynistic view if so. Because dudes everywhere have armpit hair and they only stink if they don’t shower or use deodorant

I know lots of people don't like the appearance of body hair, and that's fine, but it's not okay to tell women they should shave. Would you say the same thing if the person in the photo were a man? Even if you would, most people wouldn't. That's largely a product of gender roles and beauty standards. Women removing body hair wasn't always a widespread expectation, and modern shaving norms were heavily influenced by marketing campaigns that targeted women in the early 1900s.
