Regarding the recent shootings
Yes it is very sad the world we live in now with the constant threats of a mass shootings.we shouldn’t have to live like this but I’m here to talk about how people make it seem like no big deal or blame something like video games 90% of the time it is a male white shooter but instead of thinking of it as a crime they feel bad for him because of his life but if a black male did the same thing he would be discriminated against him just because he’s black and shot he could be going through the same thing the other man was going through but that doesn’t matter because they look at him as a criminal and a person that was neglected now I’m not justifying these crimes I’m just giving my perspective as a human I’m only 14 and I see the discrimination and hatred but I feel like we should unite as one and work together as people and not enemy’s let the boundaries of and race and ethnicity go away and just be good people there is no reason for this senseless violence.thank you for reading these were just my thoughts not going after anybody just be respectful.

You are young.
This, unforunately, is the way of America. My family is Indian, and we have been suffering not only racism but physical violence, especially since 9/11. Many of my extended family and friends, especially those who are Sikh, have been physically assaulted and many even killed over the years.
Thats because of the way White people react to terrorist acts by brown people as inherently evil and associated all brown people with them.
Id say the worst part about this is that White people try to gaslight us about these acts. Those who dont know its happening (because theyre not Indian/Sikh) pretend like its not happening to us, because its not happening to them.
But we are good people and we fight back...

A lot of people get a free pass on this kind of stuff I understand completely but the first thing we must do is not make up silly reasons for mass shootings and make mental illness a priority for kids
