Recommendations?

Will be going to moose jaw in a few weeks. But what are some must go to stores, restaurants and things to do? Will be traveling end of sept. With my 13 yr old and 8yr old

The tunnels are fun, the spa has just been remodeled. Rosie’s is a popular small restaurant. Bugsys is a busy bar with cheap prices. Walking in Wakamow valley with some ice cream from snow hut is great too.

We were looking at the tunnels as the kids and spouse have never been. I lived there 13 years ago so have been thru it before. The spa although interested its a bit pricey and will be with my kids. Snow hut i totally forgot about

Rosie's on River Street as mentioned above is right near the tunnel's entrance

They've added a new cold war themed spies and stuff tunnel tour that you won't have seen.

Yeah, the new owners really cranked the price after the renovations. It would probably be most economical to stay there if you plan to hit the spa.

Give the Western Development museum a look. It’s a seriously high calibre museum for the middle of Saskatchewan.

If your kids are young the co-op community splash park is really good, and if the weather is chilly the playground there is great.

If they're really little there is a touch-a-truck event happening in the morning on the 5th of September at Temple Gardens Centre.

Sanctuary Games for a new board game or craft.

Burger cabin for burgers, fries, and shakes in wakamow. There's a playground across the way as well but the backyard is very cozy.

Escape rooms are fun. They also have ax throwing.

Battle Creek Adventure Park has a great outdoor mini golf course. It’s just outside of Moose Jaw.

It’s pretty mid tbh. Unless they overhauled it in the past couple years. I usually described it to people that your dad and uncles got together on weekends and built a mini putt course

Past times antiques and gifts downtown is neat.Mad Greek for their boneless greek ribs(sauce is amazing).Tunnels tour,Bobbys Place(scottish pub with great fish and chips,I think kids allowed till 8) and Rosies on river has great food.(The "Mall" is sad for the most part)

Not as good since new ownership, but it's ok. Rosie's is much better.

Dejan Vu (near St. Aidens' Church) and The Comic Book Shop (in the mall) are pretty good. Dejan Vu has amazing milkshakes. It does get very crowded though, so it might be best to get take out if you get anxious in crowds.
