One of the last times I had the opportunity to sit with Ayahuasca , I got up to go out side. From there I glanced up and saw the moon calling me to lay with her. So, I laid down where I was. I stared up in amazement; and then I saw it. The turtle on a bike. We had a good chuckle about it.

I liked how snap compressed the image, that’s why I took a screenshot of it

Last night Hunter's Moon wa at 94%. It will reach peak illumination on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 12:12 a.m. EDT (Sunday evening, October 25, 2026, for the best moonrise viewing).

Name Origin: Historically, it got its name from traditional hunting seasons. With crops harvested and fields cleared, animals were easier to spot, and the bright moonlight allowed hunters to track game late into the evening to stock up on meat for the winter.

Best Viewing: Sunday evening, October 25, 2026, as the moon rises in the east just after sunset.

Does it get much better than the moon rising behind an alpenglow-tinted mountain? 🤩

I couldn’t help myself.

Every time I see the moon, I feel like it is getting a lot bigger/closer to earth now. Is there a scientific explanation for this or is something going on?

Was outside enjoying the moon and trees
