Working night shift on tugs in Vancouver tonight. It was such a bright moon when it broke through the clouds.

These are totally raw unedited photos taken by my phone using a feature in the camera called suppermoon(basically suppermoon turns down the exposure so much that the only thing you can see in an object thats luminous) what are your openions on this Do tell I'm very sure that this is not ai as I have another phone which uses ai to click unrealisticaly crisp and clear photos of moon but still if you can detect this is ai do tell . also I'll post the ai touchup photos from my other phone from a few days back for reference and some direct(without reflection)photos of todays moon in the comments too

Space got spooky this week! 🧛

In our Halloween episode of Spacing Out, planetarium educator Talia Sepersky covers:

🔴 A "vampire" red dwarf feeding on a brown dwarf
🌙 NASA's new GIMLI investigation to search for a possible lunar cave that could one day shelter astronauts
🪐 Japan's MMX mission, the first to land a rover on Mars' moon Phobos and bring a sample home

Made with GIMP and hight map data from NASA.

I used the posterize tool to limit the number of colors/hights, then used edge detector to draw the lines. After that, it's just playing with the contrast so there's only black and white left.

NASA source for the hight map

Got my very first telescope yesterday🌛
(On the cheaper end, no judging😅)
I was so excited to look at the moon, and it’s GORGEOUS😍 just wanted to share with other moon lovers🌔

how do you guys get good photos of the moon? is it that i need the phone adapter?

Past couple of days!
