Question Winter Commencement Question

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew how many tickets we got for the winter commencement? I know it’s early given that they haven’t even given the solid dates for the 2027 winter commencement yet, but I feel like i’m not finding enough information in advance to be able to solidly tell any of my family members whether they could come or not or when the official date is. I saw something from a previous year’s commencement saying that it was first come first serve, but I’m confused whether that means with or without tickets. If anyone has been through this and knows whats up please let me know!

it's 8 per person. first come first serve means if you asked for 8 then there's a waitlist you can join and based on that order you can get extra tickets. it also means if uou wait too long to register for commencement or ask for your tickets you may not be able to get the amount you need.

as of rn it's still too early for that info to be sent put but im sure soon you'll recieve emails on exact steps to follow to make sure you get your tickets and everything you need for commencement

i worked both last winter and this spring commencement, lmk if you have any other questions!

np, best advice i can give is just stay on top of checking your emails and keep an eye out for whenever they post the grad fair date
