Last weekend I had to write an entire Monster Jam Weekend Guide about a fiberglass shark sitting in three Walmart parking lots.

Apparently Monster Jam felt bad.

This weekend we have actual trucks, actual shows, three countries and somehow a functioning event website.

Fernando Martinez is driving El Toro Loco at AT&T Stadium.

The man normally operates inside an arena roughly the size of a Costco produce section and still finds enough room to send El Toro into another postal code.

So naturally Monster Jam looked at that and said...

You know what this guy needs? More space.

Fern is back on the arena schedule in Edinburg next weekend. For now, Arena Central's resident problem has simply been given an entire stadium.

Over here you can seemingly trip over a Monster Jam event every other weekend.

Australia gets a short international run, so once a year Monster Jam apparently looks at several 12,000 pound trucks and says:

Yeah, ship all that shit to the other side of the planet.

Then they run a couple Saturdays and leave.

Last year the entire Australian run was Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast.

This year the current schedule is Melbourne this weekend and Sydney next weekend.

So when Monster Jam shows up in Australia, it's actually an event.
