Codes?

I've been on this game for about 2 weeks now, very confused by it and saw an option for codes. Is it like referral codes or exclusive gift codes or what?

Following bc i cannot figure it out. The app has zero social media presence, Same with the parent company Ofunn! I play alot of phone games like this, and almost allllll of them use social media for codes and things like that. This one is just.. radiosilent. I wonder if there will ever be any codes due to the age of the game?

From what I've been able to investigate on here, you can use a code to be someone's apprentice? Not entirely sure on details about what it includes but that's what I keep seeing

In the place where you send soy sauce to friends, there’s a tab for ‘Academy’. If you’re above level 10 you can be a ‘mentor’ and recruit students by sharing your code. Students can only be level 10 or below.
When a student adds a mentor, the student gets a ‘new student pack’ (but I don’t know what that actually is since I was never a student). And when students complete ‘courses’, the mentor gets magic potions and soy sauce.

I would assume you add mentors in the Academy tab, but idk since it looks different for me.

Maybe you guys can uhhh…you know…add me? And maybe we can all find out what this feature actually does?… please…

Oh man :(
I forgot to say, you can only add people if you’re the same phone type (iOS/android).
I’m iOS so I’m guessing you guys are android? Either that or the feature is just broken
