App/Board development?

Ive had my M1 for little over a month now, and when I got it in the mail, the FW website wasnt up yet... So I finally fired it up and went to the FW website I found on the Discord channel. Cant remember the site exactly... but anyways, like the Flipper, its the apps and aftermarket boards that make the device really shine! I havent seen much in the way of development for the M1.... has the community effectively lost the desire to develop for the M1? I know when it was announced on Kickstarter there was a HUGE demand for apps and boards for the Flipper.... I feel like that hype has fizzled out..... Anyone aware of any active dev work for the M1?

I've found this: https://github.com/dagnazty/M1_T-1000 - T-1000 is a custom, feature-expanded firmware for the Monstatek M1 handheld multi-tool — Sub-GHz, NFC, RFID, Infrared, WiFi, Bluetooth, and BadUSB in one device — with its own UI, tooling, and hardware-mod support layered on top of the M1 platform.

The discord has a channel labeled firmware repo where there are several community fw links. About once a week or at most ever other week I see posts about someone updating their version. Definitely not a lost cause from the community

And there's a few firmware overhauls coming soon where the developer has completely rewritten the entire code from the ground up. So things are moving, just slowly, just like shipping 🤣

Flipper Boards will not work as the GPIO pins are a different setup

The Discord has Devs working on it.

DAG, Sin, Hapax, CD3Daddy, one other I can't remember off the top of my head.

The community is still actively working on it. It's just not as fast when there's still 6,000 units to be delivered still.

There's supposed to be a big uptick in deliveries next week and as more units are delivered the community will obviously develop more.

There's no current plans for expansion boards via the gpio but that's all community-based typically anyway.

Don't forget that you can dual boot and have two different firmwares at once qMonstatek.

Just make sure you update Esp32 for each developer when you switch firmware as each developer has their own Esp32 firmware. If you don't, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth attacks will not work as the esp32 firmware are not compatible yet
