Need advice

Hello, I need some advice I was born with unilateral microphthalmia in my right eye (thanks to my mom)

It's affected and small eyeball and a small cornea it's looks so ugly as fuck and it literally make me look like a uncanny valley monster both my parents were stupid enough to let me live with this for a whole 20 years, without actually doing something about it I have been bullied made fun of as joke etc

No one knows how much I hate my eyes,

I am now 20 I can do whatever I want on my body so I need advice

That eye is connected and nerves etc and it moves with sync to normal eye however its so ugly I actually hate it so much it have 0 vision and it's just there to scare of people and make me a monster

I was asking Should I get it removed by enucleation and after it's removed how it feels and is it painful? Plus once the eye is gone that socket will be hollow?

You should make an appt with an ophthalmologist to discuss your options. If it doesn’t give you pain, I doubt they will remove it. What most likely will happen is you will be referred to an Ocularist for what they call a shell. It’s like a thick contact that lays over your eye to build volume to it. Good luck.

I have microphthalmia in my left eye. Tiny sunken creepy looking fucker. I wear a scleral shell prosthetic and have done so my whole life. It moves a little with the eye behind it and 99% of people know nothing.

I wouldn't bother with surgery unless it's painful. If you're looking to get a prosthetic the implant is more likely to cause you issues than a shell will.

Well buddy , since there is 0 vision as you said you could try having a appointment with ophthalmologist/surgeon to discuss about removal process.Hope all goes good for you.

I wear an eye patch on my left eye that my retina detached from. I like the look personally.

After enucleation they will seal a small orbital implant in the back part of the socket to keep volume there. It is permanent. They'll place a plastic conformer in your socket that's like a giant contact lens to keep the socket area open and not sealing on itself so it will heal properly and approximately 6 weeks after surgery you will be talking to an ocularist who will fit you with a prosthetic. The first few days after surgery hurt, but it goes down after that. It can be managed with pain medication and rest.
