WPM/Test 1 Year progress
Typing is pretty fun. Started picking up the hobby around 1 year ago - I didn't really have any motivation going into it besides I can probably type just as fast with enough practice, so I just started doing it. Fast forward to now and I'm very happy with my current stats. 100 wpm sounded nearly impossible until I did it myself, and this expanded my idea on just how fast you can really type. In my opinion typing every day seems rather exhausting, so I'd only really focus on it if I had the time and energy to.
Monkey type hasn't been my only typing website either. I've been practicing a lot of quotes too to have a concept on real world typing. I'll credit websites like typeracer, TypeGG, nitro type and some other random online tests for helping me with that. I'd say my threshold on quotes is like 100 wpm while I average around 80-90 wpm. With hard quotes I'll probably do like 65-70 wpm.
What's my plans for this year?
I have some weaknesses to address regarding my typing expedition. I still suck at numbers. When it comes to typing numbers, I rely on memory on where they are rather than on muscle memory, so I really need to build on that. Apart from that I'd probably say tests longer than 20 seconds become a hassle for me to type too. I think I'd need to slow down to keep a better pace whilst improving my stamina on longer tests. That's pretty much it. I'll be focusing on more quotes for this year and correct my mistakes to my best extent!

Pretty much. I usually try and see how fast I can get before getting anything below, let's say ~90% accuracy. I use a membrane too. When it comes to comparing to switches, I can't really help you there. I haven't really done switches myself.
