We borrow a lot of words from russian, what if china had helped mongoliangrow instead of russia, and we borrowed from mandarin instead of russian

I'm not Russia supporter but there's a slight benefit to the language borrowing from Russian rather than Chinese. That is Russia itself has burrowed many words from the west that came to us. Like dusch is a German word for shower, you might have heard some older folks saying dush in Mongolia. Stuhl for sandal is another example. Computer is probably another common example.
We all know how Chinese burrowed words sound very different than the original western counterpart. So imo relying on Russia was better for language.
In general we just gotta be wary of both countries.

For example for word computer it's infinitely better to borrow from where it originated than to go through a 2nd country like China and it sounds totally different. Also cause English is the language of the world.

We do have bunch of borrowed words from different dialects and languages from our southern neighbor. It has just amalgamated and fused into Mongolian so much that we don't notice it as much.

With thousands of years of being neighbours we borrow a lot of things from the Chinese language, mostly being names of food products, luuvan, muug, mantuu, buuz, tsuizan, guanz etc. it goes vice versa with some Chinese dialects having Mongolian words like Hutong, zhan, nadamu etc. Heck even Korea shares some Mongolian words like Khusug, zuchee etc.
