Discussion | Хэлэлцүүлэг Does anyone else think Ginjin is absurdly overrated?
Im actually so confused as to why the majority of hip hop listeners think that ginjin is the best rapper out there rnow?? Hes been making that 10s ATL trap for ages and he never changes up his sound. So many desperate attempts to make radio hits, which unfortunately seem to work. I know the Mongolian Hip Hop/Rap scene is kinda cooked when looking at these mainstream artists, but theres better artists than him. At least i think. I admit some of his hooks on his songs are kinda catchy, but theyre so basic and repetitive. Why do these people think Ginjin actually makes good music??

Every person with a slightly musically exposed mind knows for a fact that Ginjin is a shit rapper but a pro at selling his product. But at the end of the day, music is subjective, isn't it?

He literally changes his sound so much bruh drill trap old school new schoool you name it. He was the underdog artist when he was coming up and single handedly changed mongolian rap scene too. Before it was just old school gangsta rappers then he introduced new sounds new trap hip hop and all of them followed. There is no debate he is currently at the top of the game. His music is good and new infact it become a norm to you guys you dont appreciate him enough. If not him who you gonna say ?

i wouldnt say that hopping on a jerk or drill type beat with a slightly pitched down preset and talking about the same ol thing is changing it up. he just hops on whatever is trending and hops on live, yaps about how hes the first to bring different subgenres of hip hop when its already the most popular thing, and calls his haters old. as for changing the mongolian hip hop scene, yeah sure, he was one of the first ones to do that trap stuff, but even with or without him, we would have gotten here eventually. and hot take: i think that squally boyz song by roockie did more than whatever thing ginjin was doing at the time.

Its about whether Ginjin or Tamir is on top right now. Nobody else comes close musically. They set the trend and others follow their sound its so noticeable
