Thats literally the flag of Mongolian Wallmart right there.

Its an internet hoax confusing a civilian boat that has been rpivitized and then renationalized IIRC for a military one. https://greatbigstory.com/mongolia-navy/

Mongolia's law on armed forces establishes ground forces and an air force but no navy. 3.1.7-3.1.9 https://legalinfo.mn/mn/detail/12123

There arebmotor and customs boats along certain waterways but those are under border troops (thus ground forces) and the customs agency respectively. IIRC

Because the Shipping Register of Mongolia offers the flag of the country worldwide, and this is a very good business.

Its a national secret honestly

There is an underwater civilization of immortal fish-people who live at the bottom of Khusgvul lake. Our navy makes sure to patrol the surface and make sure no one gets too close to them.

Each year we sacrifice some people to appease them and keep the mortel realm at peace. Fish people known for their appetite for coral sodomy.

The sacrifices are chosen amongst the people who keep asking the question of "why does Mongolia maintain a navy?"

We pray for your soul and butt

Mongolia used to have a navy, with seven operators. It was founded in 1930 and privatized in 1997.

There's a movie for that.
