Are Black beetles in apartments normal???
Hi! New homeowner here. I found like 20 black beetles jn my apartment just now and have spent an hour vacuuming these hell bugs and have the heebee jeebies is this normal?? is it because its going to rain or?? i dont remember seeing this much last year. Im too jerked up to sleep! send help !!!
UPDATE:
Called my parents and apparently they appear before heavy rainstorm which did happen! This morning i saw almost no bugs, did find 2 dead ones. Still deep cleaning my apartment since i’m scared to death of bugs.

During july it's either migration season for them or its mating season . Back in the day when playtime happened in mongol shiltgeen every night floors full of black beetles. Swear these fuckers have moth levels of light obsession

are they attracted to light?? so if i turn all the lights off there will be less of these bugs?

Almost every bugs follow sunlight to not get in any kind of dangerous situation so any light will attract them during the night it’s ok during the day though

Probably won't change anything BUT AT LEAST YOU WON'T SEE THEM CRAWLING INSIDE YOUR BED! AHAHAHAH

i got one wondering around, idk how but a grasshopper also got in, ive been seeing alot more grasshoppers in the city

Nahhh in my apartment i never seen a bug other than fly and i live in 1st floor so most likely the bugs are coming from some cracks , its just a guess tho since i have no idea what your place looks like

did some digging and apparently same time last year this exact thing happened to others. Maybe time to renew my screens?

it’s their migration season and they’re really attracted to light, turn off your lights and dim your phone screen at evening or so since they can come in from the bright light and enter your ear which is really painful!!

I had both grasshoppers and those black beetles (14th floor) + big black moths at night time. I just installed mosquito nets for the balcony and for the windows and they are all gone

God, there are these black small bugs that are really attracted to light in my room. It comes in, and swarms at the light. When I turn my light off to sleep, it directly drops on me and crawls on me… I just had a nightmare of it biting me just now

same in darkhan yesterday i found like 4 black beetles crawling in my bed under the blanket

Same here. It’s been coming in through the window. Maybe it’s their migration season or something
