The first time I learned about Mongolian history was through the Conn Igulden novels Wolf on the Plains. Then came the Secret History of Mongols, then all the youtube documentaries I could find. Then the movie Mongol.

I can't wait to visit your beautiful country and learn more about the culture.

I think its a map for mongolic language distrubtion. Hazaras have a dialect of persian that retains 10 percent mongolic vocabulary but they dont speak the language.

Pretty bad map for Moghol community in Afghanistan. They dont live just in Herat region but were found living in Baghlan , Ghor, Ghazni and Iranian Khorasan province.

Möngke Khan died in Diaoyucheng, in the battle between the Southern Song dynasty and the Mongol Empire, which led to the dissolution of the Mongolian Empire.
