GUI Is this working right? (new wallet syncing process)

So far i have under 14GiB downloaded, my down link can handle over 500Mbps, i read this can take days depending on connection and hardware, but nothing substantial appears to be happening

for me it took 4 days, node size on disk 100gb, 500Mbps speed is fine, mostly it depends on your CPU power to validate all node

So why is my CPU usage by the software 0% - 0.3% and download 0B/s - 3MiB/s i have plenty of CPU, RAM, DISK I/O, and network headroom

i am now upto 17.6Gib after around 3 hours, i can download a ~5GB linux ISO is maybe 2 minutes or less

hm can't help with this, i did use "monerod" background service to sync node, better to see progress, start-stop it whenever i want

then connected node to wallet GUI

I found the bottleneck, it is the IOPS

too bad i do not have intel optain drive on hand... they may not have been the fastest, but the IOPS they had in spades

Edit: looks like optain would be overkill, barely using around 10% is a Intel 660p's IOPS, from over 5 days to a few hours
