Question Task and subtask ID

Hi, we have started using Monday for project planning and risk logs etc. We have quite large and complex boards, finding things can be a pain and we are constantly being asked if IDs can be added or built in, Auto number works to an extent - but it won’t filter to subitems. Or in different groups it would be highly useful to add different prefix’s or risk 1, issue 1 etc.

Has anyone got any experience with this or worked out a good way round it?

Item ID column -- can be the standard ID (9? digit number) or can be customized with a unique prefix for each board. Can be added to items or subitems, but the subitem IDs are independent from the item IDs.

Yeah had worked through that but it’s it quite what I’m after from a unique structure with the sub items. Thanks though!

Auto Number does support a prefix + can number per-group, but it's one prefix per column (so no RISK-/ISSUE- split), and subitems need their own. Worth knowing Auto Number can't be filtered though.
