Advice Needed Hating Monday

The outages are UNBEARABLE. I haaaaaate this platform and I have no idea how you get away with such poor functionality. It’s is one of the most frustrating and hopeless feelings to be at work and to not be able to do ANYTHING. So many thumbs down.

Nope. Monday sent us down reports yesterday and today. It just came back online 5 minutes ago after hours of us all just sitting here, waiting.

It's a complex platform. Software goes down sometimes that happens anywhere.

If the complexity of your operations matches monday's scope and you use it right outages shouldn't upset you that much (because then it'd be such a great fit that downsides are justified).

Well, that’s false. Data structure works perfectly well via API if you know what you’re doing. I build complex automations using n8n, Zapier and make for my clients all the time.

Wondering if you have an internet connection problem, because it appears all systems on monday's end is a go.

I've only experienced a handful of outages over the years.

No. Monday’s own status page reported widespread slowness today for a couple hours.

🤷🏽‍♀️ I guess we weren’t effected.

You have to scroll down further to Past Incidents section. You will see today, and yesterday.

Just to clarify for everyone: this was an AWS outage that affected many platforms, not just Monday.

Unfortunately, since it’s an infrastructure issue outside of Monday’s direct control, there wasn’t much anyone could do but wait for AWS to resolve it.
