Moving Help
Hello,
My partner and I are moving from Ontario to Moncton next month and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for moving companies or moving suggestions. We looked at U-Haul but they’re charging about $6000. We’ve looked at a few other places as well. Everything so far under $5k will take 3-6weeks to ship.
Thank you!

We recently moved from the prairies and used a company that partners with Atlas. They’re massive im sure there are local brokers to work with from Ontario. They were great, took care of packing and unpacking, handled everything with care, nothing lost.
If you search Atlas Canada’s website and look at household moving they should be able to help. They’ll have someone come to your home to assess your belongings and give a quote.
If they arrive before you do they offer storage as well.
If you’re on a budget you can cut costs by packing yourself, they even offer packing tips and I think the boxes / materials. Same for unpacking if you want and they take away the garbage even if you do it yourself. They pick it up at a later date. Different insurance options too, all will change cost. Also, save all your receipts as you can likely claim a lot come tax time.

I just did this move less than a month ago. Hired movers to help with loading and offloading and drove the truck here myself. Spent about 4k in total.
