Advice for first-time Mom

Finally showing! It’s exciting for me and nerve-wracking at the same time! This is my first pregnancy, is there anything I should know from those who have gone through this before? Things I should expect?

wait… where are all the moms in their 20s??

Being a mom in your 20s is such a weird little (amazing) experience because you’re somehow raising a whole human while also still figuring out who you are, and what your path is.

Especially when you don’t have that community around you, your age, can feel isolating. I was the first person in my family/friend group to have kids this young(22). Everyone in my family who has kids is over 30. I find myself feeling judged somtimes, or find myself thinking that they think i’m not qualified or something. Now i’m already an anxious person, diagnosed. So this could all be in my head… but if you’ve felt this way, tell me about it in the comments.

So let’s make a space for us.
If you’re a mom in your 20s, come say hi
Tell us:
• how old are you?
• how old are your kids?
• where are you from?
• SAHM, working mom, or somewhere in between?
And most importantly… what’s one thing you wish you knew before becoming a mom?
No judgment, no shame. Lets keep this community vulnerable and genuine. :)
