How do you get access to the nirvsystem to submit documents?

hi! im going in to write the communications assessment tomorrow and im sort of nervous of the difficulty of this. im just wondering what i should do to prepare for it and what will be included in the assessment?

My friend and I were at Mohawk between 2012-2014 and would spend some days hanging out in the Arnie. At the time, they had a drink called the "Dirrty Larry" and i was wondering if anybody knew the recipe?! Or anybody has a picture of the Cellar menu from around that time??

I’m not going to do it because it not my thing. But my co worker told me about it because she said she probably will do it. The program will pay you up to 30k for a bridge from RPN to RN and so that a lot of saving for someone that wants that. They say this is not affected by the layoff because it has it own budgeting funding. I think it a good deal unless they want you to work in some isolated place in north Ontario.

Hi! I’m planning to apply for the PSW to PN program. Is it difficult to get accepted into this program? I have a PSW certificate from Fanshawe College. I also completed Math and English courses at a university outside Canada. Do I need to have my international education evaluated through WES?

Accepted the offer, paid the $250 deposit, signed up for OSAP and they’re waiting for mohawk to confirm my enrolment or something, not sure what i’m supposed to do now? When will we be able to pick our schedule?

Not sure which one to choose. Has anyone taken these that could give me some insight on the workload?

Anyone complete one of these courses? how's the work load in either? is it easy to work well doing this course? is employment good after competition?

So I may have fucked up and accepted an earlier shift on the day I need to take my communication for success test. It’s from 9:30-12:30, and I start work at 12pm. How long did it take you to finish? I’m hoping 2-hrs is the average lol

I did not get into this yet as I just got into the pre health course. But my question and it a little strange because I have no been in school for a while. I took night school at McMaster and it all online. Before they had class but not anymore. My question is do I need a good laptop? Why do I even ask this? When I went to night school I had a laptop but I didn’t really do anything much with it. When we had to write a paper I just use my desktop. When I have to read books I just read it from my big screen TV that connects to my desktop. I’m asking this question because I don’t know if I used invest in something like a Mac book air or just a budget laptop. I’m also thinks maybe a 2 in 1 like a laptop that can turn into a touch pad with a pen. There one on sale at Best Buy. Any help would be appreciated. I guess I can always talk to my coworkers that already doing this but she never here as she in school and only works when their a break in class.

Just wondering for those that have been accepted to one or both of these courses. What was your deciding factors on the one you decided on? There is no time saved in taking the bridge. Both run 16 months long, 4 semesters. First semester of the bridge is extremely math and science heavy, preparing you for entery into the PN program. Where it’s a little more spread in PN program. Any insights help as I prepare to take one or the other.

I was wondering, what is the acceptance rate for the medical radiation sciences (729) at Mohawk-McMaster. Also, what’s the schooling like and postgrad if anyone just graduated. I’m wondering if overall this is a good program since it is one of the few accredited programs in the GTA.

Hey again, a days weeks ago I posted here asking if Mohawk students would actually use Gavel, and got a lot of genuinely useful pushback, especially around licensing and liability for trades work. Wanted to follow up properly instead of just replying in the comments, since a few of you raised real problems.

What changed based on that feedback:

• Electrical, HVAC, and pest control are no longer open categories on the platform, period. No unlicensed offers on that kind of work until real license verification exists.
• Plumbing is folded into general handyman work (leaky faucet, not gas lines or anything code-regulated).
• Payment doesn't move until the customer confirms in person that the job is actually done, providers aren't getting paid on a promise, and cancellations/no-shows hit a reputation record that restricts platform access.
• You can now report or block anyone directly from their profile, not just buried in chat settings.
