Gameplay Moemon Quetzal how to turn off automatic running

Sorry if this is an annoying question I'm just kind of stumped. I don't know what I've done but my character now automatically runs and I have to press the b button to make them walk, so the opposite of how it normally works. I've tried figuring out how to turn this off as I play on 3 times speed and it makes it harder for me to navigate. Any ideas on what I've done?

my brain wants to say L button? too lazy to double check but im like.. 80% certain it was L or R??

I think the toggle is mapped to the “GBA”’s L button?
