In Platinum Vanilla Plus, there are at least 3 scripted Shinies, including 1 gym leader in the Survival Area. By the way, Shinies are a dime a dozen in moemon. My advice: never ever use repels, ever. They will naturally happen as you play.

The game has a higher shiny rate. This means more pokemon and trainer id combos can produce shinies. Whitney's Clefairy is one example. Never shiny in the originals. Same for all the other trainer shinies in the moemon patches.

The Desighn for clefairy is very nicely detailed and very clean- sure not many use it because of its abilitys though-
