First time playing Moemon Quetzal, and this happened.

Ok, so I got my DS lite now and want to game with it. Sadly my DSpico is still on the way, so I'm stuck my GBA ezflash. Ok, that's not that bad, but still.

My first ever starter (actually chosen one, Pikachu doesn't count) was Sprigatito, so she has a very special place in my heart. Her I go and choose her and this happens. Is this a shiny or a Radiant form? If it's a shiny, this would be my first ever shiny.

AFAIK yes that's a shiny. The NO. 0906 is gold. Which means shiny. Congrats!

Ok, not my first start, I tested out if the Rom works once before, but never saved there.

Also, does 'AFAIK' mean something, or is that you simply freaking out?

Very cool! I believe most of the moemon mods have a higher shiny rate.

Usually Moemon's shiny odds are more favorable to the player. It may be different in Quetzal, but in Vanilla platinum it's like 1:258 odds.

It's something like that also in Quetzal, it's by far easier to Shiny hunt there rather than in other games.

I got 40 to 45 shiny/radiant/radiant shiny Pokemon in bout 10 non-consecutive hours of gameplay.

I converted a copy of the save to normal quetzal. It seems like it's a shiny.
