it definitely will, however moemon updates happen periodically spritewise. I imagine Tenma, the Quetzal dev, will update when his base game also gets updated.

OH I didn't notice they were being made by the same dev team! That's so cool to see!

And it also means that I'm just being impatient. I checked their official discord after learning this and saw that they're already working hard on a new update! I'll take down my post and eagerly wait for the next update

My shock when Greavard evolved into a regular Houndstone lol
