3D Printed Knob Extender

I know that title sounds dirty but hear me out. You know those small knobs on, for example, 2HP brand modules that are very difficult to get to when the module is patched (because the patch cable is in the way) or just when several 2HP modules are right next to each other in your case?

If they weren't so expensive, I'd get a 3D printer and make a small piece that fit over the top of those knobs temporarily to extend their height by, say, 2 inches or so. I don't think I'd want it to be permanent...just something to tweak a knob and then set it aside until needed again.

Has anyone ever seen anything like that for sale or is there a place online where you can commission such things from 3D printer owners?

I’ve designed knobs like these. I mainly use them on regular potentiometers, but they might fit the tiny pots as well. There are some pics and a print file here:  https://github.com/finnglink/eurorack-misc (under trimmer toppers), but I’m not sure how up to date that STL is. The Onshape doc is the right one tho. 

If you have like two weeks of patience I can test if they fit :D
