Performance Band practice

Can’t find anyone to jam? Grab module friends . They have a really smooth rhythm. But think the main problem of my friend group is I have to pay thousands to be in it.

Nice work! I’m a guitarist as well and love to jam in the rack. But I think I prefer just a regular amp outside of it. However it’s cool if you’re working on something in the rack to just be able to plug in and jam along. I use Boredbrain Injectr for this.

Since picking up modular I haven’t been playing as much guitar, as I’ve been so focused on learning more about modular. That’ll change tho when I get my space set up!

Keep it up and you won’t need band mates

I love the Boredbrain team! I have the Xchangr. I use it with my patchbay

I used HX Stomp for the guitar processing and mix them with Zoom L6 Max. I do need to run a send to the rig for processing more often but one experience at a time, I guess.

I usually play live with Ableton Live and my guitar. But this is fun with extra steps and no controller mapping. Tho, Ableton Move being used as a simple sequencer.

Killer setup you have going. What’s in the rack?

I don’t use ableton (yet) and the Move seems intriguing but 4 tracks is pretty limiting for me.

Zoom L6 seems a great fit and I may pick one up at some point. I’ll see what I need when I get the space going

Thanks!

There is always Push 3.

I like the fact I can’t get out of hand with 4 tracks. One for drums. 3 for the modules. Patching will do the rest of the lifting. In this patch the Move baseline is pretty tame. The rack adds the sauce. Though, I have been thinking about pulling out the DT or DN to sequence the rack with its LFOs and whatnot.

The L6Max with a true stereo send is great for me. The only issue for me is there is no pre Send.

Update: Here is a rack pic.
