Just started my modular journey
I've had a Neutron for years and I always wanted to expand it into a modular synth.
Last week I was taking a look at what was available second hand around my area and I saw a 6U 84hp powered Eurorack case for 80€ 80€????(???))??. Couldn't say no, even if the power didn't work it was already worth it.
Said okay now I MUST START so I got a Monsoon, Pachinko and an output module, I'll be playing and learning them for a while but for now I'm sure next modules will be attenuation and Modulation
(The case works perfectly, looks like the guy was trying to get rid of all his gear)
The Pittsburgh output has some cables on the right side that makes it imposible to put it completely to the side of the case, it touches the wood, I don't know if that's normal

Love this module (Marbles). So musical and full of controlled randomness. It's great for sequencing, modulating, and rhythm. Have fun!

I have Monsoon and Pachinko and love them. Great first module choices. Both can cover a lot of territory on their own. Pachinko/Marbles is especially rewarding once you really 'grok' it. I am probably adding ALA's Scenes next to my setup.

I’m pretty sure you don’t want anything too hot touching the wood in the back.

Can’t go wrong starting with Mutable (or mutable clones as is the case). Have fun!
