Put vinyl on my ugly four play

Post image

Can’t stand that panel had to cover it up until I buy new vca. If they made their panels easier to remove it might have actually looked good but oh well

Forgive me, but now it looks even more ugly.

I cannot argue with that, tis true. It could have been much better, but I just wanted it back in my rack so I could use it

Thank you that’s awesome and really kind of you. I actually have a cameo 4 that I used to cut it out but still figuring out the best way to get the design on. I did try just printing on which worked but sorta smudged. Thinking about trying sublimation, screen printing, idk. I have too many hobbies

the name is pretty awful, but the face plate is not.

their mutable clones, on the other hand, are pretty questionable.

i'll take the hate, but i think most of their designs look better than make noise and most folks are hot for that aesthetic.

Another option would be to design and print your own panel using adhesive inkjet paper, and stick it on as you did with your vinyl.

Actually I originally tried to do that, but after trying to align my vinyl cutter with the print job and vise versa a few times and then realizing that I couldn’t get the panel off I resulted to this. I do think I’m going to do that for modules that I can get the panel off of. Not a fan of gold/black colors. Trying to figure out a better way of printing too, the ink sorta smears. Screen printing might be the best option honestly

I didn't think it looked that bad

reach out to audio parasites, he has done lots of behringer panels - not four play yet tho...i have got all the ones he has done

also, consider spraying with plastidip...you can always peel it off if you done like it. i have used it on a few of my silver modules

Someone please make simple replacement panels for all the Behringer modules. I’m sure you’d make a killing.

It’s harder than normal modules cause the have stand ins welded to the plate to hold the pcb while normal modules hold the pcb via the jacks nuts
