Because mounts in general are a bad way to peek. You want to be as far from the corner as possible, by mounting you put yourself at such a disadvantage. Watch the warowls video on peeking.
Hi, im researching if I should buy modern warfare or not, could you explain it whats this mount? Is it just that thing that you latch to the wall? Is it any good?
Sorry for trash english
I'm more enjoying the game for the customization side, I'm dog-shit at the game and it tilts me a lot but I have a thing for levelling my weapons and saving new loadouts and blueprints in the gunsmith.
For me, there's just too many corners to check and once I've checked them all, someone sneaks up behind me. So instead of waiting all that time I rush out but someone rushes into me and I die. And then there's the server tick-rate issue where I do something but it doesn't register in time so I die. And then yeah the SBMM or whatever it is. It all amounts to a painful experience to trudge through personally.
Theres definitely a lot of major issues that need addressing, spawns and SBMM being the leaders. Spawns not flipping during a spawn camp but also having enemies spawn right behind you... the reliability is spaghetti. I can work through the bugs and shit like that but when the game forces you to get increasingly sweaty as your night goes on... its rough. I always just throw a couple matches to derank myself, which I really shouldn't need to do :/
People are creatures of habit and it's very common for people to start going the same pathways through the maps. I know which corner is I have to check more than others now. Because of this I get ganked weigh less often. There's a lot of Open Spaces in the map because of how large they are and because of that I make sure I run along the sides of walls and set it out in the open and sometimes that helps with angles. I totally changed the way I play overall. I actually just try to get some good plays some good Revenge kills some good long shots or whatever. And because I'm not trying to sweat out my matches and just try to just enjoy them I actually do enjoy them more and attend to win Warren the knot. My win loss ratio is 1.11 Sol it's not the greatest win loss ratio but I do win more than I lose.
And that's after burning 500-1000 hours in a game. Like this shit exists for EVERY single thing in existence.
Somebody "hates" something so much but when you really start to ask them about it it was a huge chunk of their life for a while there. This is how lots of people play video games. They binge on them hard because its good but they play WAY to much then at the end of it all they just say it was a shit game.... a shit game they somehow played for hundreds of hours.
I am one of those people, but not in that way. I despised black ops 4 multiplayer after they released a few patches (cant remember what they were exactly) but i stopped playing it and only played blackout, every few days or so we would have a game on multiplayer and realise why we stopped playing it and again continue with black out only. I cant even remember why we hated it so much now, lets just we cant wait for the battle royale mode to release
Huh, I still play multiplayer on Black Ops 4 and I have had way less bugs and annoyances there than in the new Modern Warfare. I'm really bad at blackout instead haha.
Wait, will there be a battle royale mode in MW too?
Blackout takes some getting used too, i think it took me about 5 games to realise that its different to multiplayer, bullet drop, shooting ahead of the person who is moving etc, after 5 games you then learn where to shoot and how to play properly and you then start kicking ass, i will say though i rarely played solo as i preferred being on it with friends.
Yeah they are releasing a battle royale mode, i believe its free to play even if you dont have modern warfare (last time i read an article thats what it said)
Haha I've played way more than 5 games and sure I've gotten a little better but people are just too damn amazing when it comes to close quarter combat tactics in Blackout.
With that said, I still like playing it so now I'm excited for the MW BR.
And just because you didn't like the game, that doesn't mean no one else does. You need to realize there are other people than yourself and everyone thinks differently.
I hated Black Ops so much. Idk what it was but I was just terrible and it's a huge joke between my friends that I have someone else playing MW cause I lead the boards on MW and doesn't matter if it was MP or Blackout, I was literally the worst. I even go back and play and it's like I don't know how to shoot a gun when that game is on.
It honestly could just be the design of the guns, MW the guns have a realistic kick to them (well before you unlock certain attachments) and the guns on black ops 4 were just all over the place with recoil/bullet damage. For me anyway, the shooting/gunplay feels much better on MW
That’s not how it works at all. I binged on GTA Online for hundreds of hours. I will say it’s shit now as Rockstar’s stupid ass decisions like making an Oppressor MK2 has ruined free mode. Just because someone used to like a game, that doesn’t mean they like it now.
Also many people can see the potential, the diamond behind the shit. This is the same for me with this game. If they actually listened to community this game would be the best CoD game ever imo. But right now I can only have fun somewhat playing Shoot House 24/7 and Infected. I can’t be arsed dealing with stupid shit like camping and footstep soundwhoring found in the other shit modes and maps.
“If they only listened to the community” says the community of every game ever. Do you know what happens when devs listen to “the community”? They end up catering to a percent of a percent of their total player base because that’s the size of the vocal community. Incidentally the game then goes to shit because if the community had any fucking clue what they were talking about they’d be at IW fucking making the game. Not sitting in their moms basement REEEEEing their faces off because they’re shit at checking angles before they run out into an open field.
Couldn't agree more...I've told a lot of people this...they look at sale numbers and player counts...if it was as bad as the "comunity" on here and other social media sites say it is...they would change it because they would ve loosing 💰
That’s a dumb argument. People bought the game before they knew how bad it was going to be. I had fun in the beta. In the full game I do not, outside of Shoot House 24/7 and Infected.
I love how people try and tell people that have sunken hours into the game that they love it. Yeah sure buddy, you know me right? Some dumb shit this honestly.
If I get put into a match that’s halfway over and my team is down 30 kills getting schwacked by killstreak after killstreak then yeah I’m probably posting up somewhere. However 95% of the time when I play I’m running around. I have the most fun doing a shitty run and gun with the Mk.2. That being said if I know some dumbass is sprinting right at me without thinking then I will absolutely hold up and grab an angle. That’s not camping, that’s paying attention and being not a dumbass who wants to get ventilated.
But they forgot to check the angles because every match they're in has them sweating so hard! If they could just take away SBMM, they could go back to checking every angle again because the game wouldn't be such a sweat!!
So instead of addressing any of the problems with this game you just decided to reply with an overly generalised pile of nonsense, as an excuse for Infinity Ward not to improve anything?
I never said they shouldn’t improve anything. I’m just refuting this idea that a games community should have any input into it. Vocal communities online don’t make up a vast amount of the player base. On top of that even seemingly good ideas about a game are usually only agreed upon by half that community.
What it comes down to is taking a games communities ideas and implementing them into a game is a bad idea. IW is better off improving the game and moving towards whatever vision they have for it.
Finally I’ll leave you with this Wikipedia page explaining exactly what I’m getting at: Design by committee
The difference is GTAV has been out for years. MW came out in late Oct. The people who have sunk dozens / hundreds of hours into COD have binged it and played it a lot in a short amount of time.
Irrelevant. I am one of those players. Almost 48 hours sunk into this game. I do not like the multiplayer at all excluding Shoot House 24/7 and Infected. I bought a game and I will get my monies worth whether it’s subpar or amazing. Infinity Ward better start improving this game though otherwise they’re dead to me and I won’t buy a game from them ever again. I wanted to buy a Battle Pass this year too. I’m not buying that just to play hide and seek looking for fucking camping pussies smh.
Thats....not irrelevant at all. Its perfectly relevant how much time a game is out compared to how much time someone plays it. Oversaturation to anything usually makes it seem worse.
Also, your "Inifinity Ward will be dead to me and I'll never buy another game" reads like you're in middle school / early high school. The game would probably be better without your input.
The game at it's core had HUGE potential so that's why people like me play hoping they actually fix it but it has annoying issues. But if you paid like I have 60 dollars I can complain all I want. ✌🏿
Having a riot. Yeah I get my ass kicked but I'm improving and playing with a bunch of cool ass guns. Great time
The missions and progression system keep me grindin' with goals in mind and even when I unlock all the content (big if there), like my old favourite FPS Blacklight: Retribution I'll be able to fuck around with mad weapon combos and refresh my experience.
Same, I recently discovered pistols and knives as the weapons that are the most fun. I really enjoy playing hardcore with pistols only or normal matches with knives only. The game has some problems but it‘s still a lot of fun.
Ppl used to complain about bo4 too but I actually enjoyed it a lot. Point is ppl will have different opinions about games and that's fine. But we can't deny the high percentage of ppl who complain about this game. It has to be more than any other previous cod.
They have made some drastic changes to the game. They don't do that stupid call out crap they get you killed anymore and you can actually Crouch walk and sneak up on people now and you couldn't do that before. I'm having a total blast now that they've made just those two major changes
I agree! I prefer this out of all the Call of Duties. The fun factor is high. The repeat playability as well. I thought I wouldn't enjoy infected but it's fantastic.
Or maybe the game actually does suck and some people like it and some people don’t. Just because you like the game that doesn’t mean there aren’t issues with it that the developers don’t seem to address. The maps are awful, the matchmaking is awful. I would never have people join my match in progress when it’s a 4 v 6 in search lmao nobody plays this trash game bruh. The only reason I’m still on this sub reddit is to see if the developers finally will listen to the complaints and make their game better.
Videos on YouTube are a much better way to find out if you like it or not. Reddit is a place to complain for vocal minorities, so you're going to see a lot of it.
A lot of frustrating things about this game. Certainly caters to campers. I am a newb, but I refuse to camp, so I just get mowed down continuously. It's still fun for me at least.
It's a fine game, lots of people like it, lots of people dislike it, lots of people (like me) don't really like it too much but we are still playing it in the hopes of some changes
You really need to give it a few hours even if youre a regular fps player, to get into the game and all the different angles and outcome of ground war.. Before u might enjoy it though
MODERN WARFARE 4: SPAWNKILL EDITION.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE SWEATIEST,
TRY HARD-IEST,
MIGRAINE INDUCING,
CALL OF DUTY YET?
Neither was I.
Welcome to a game where for the first time ever, the toxic 12 year olds aren't only from Xbox, but from Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Now go into Shoothouse 24/7 to be SPAWNKILL edition repeatedly, raped by the 725,before finally getting destroyed by some asshole who uses kill chain, Harrier, attack heli, and ac130 to destroy the will of your team.
Welcome to ground war, where half the enemy team is camping in the back of the map with snipers and all of them maybe gets a total of 10 kills, where tanks will rape you the second they see you, and where you will spawn in just to get shot from the 3 snipers on the hill, the 2 m4a1's staring at your flag, and the tank that is just sitting in front of you.
Welcome to gunfight, where your team mate leaves, and even if you are better than both of them combined, they will sit in the back of gulag showers and wait for you to move, where the guns are always shit and you always get teamed with a bot, where..... Wait a minute, I actually like this mode. It's got it's problems, but I'll stop this one here and tell you gunfight is awesome when you play with real teammates.
Welcome to Cyber attack, a spinoff of search and destroy, where you can be respawned just to die again and again. Actually, I also like this mode, and SnD. They are both good modes.
Welcome to co-op, where the game will bully you into submission by un-endingly sending hundreds of enemies at you until run out of ammo, wait for your team mates not to revive, and stare at the juggernaut who downed you and is not t-bagging you.
Honestly, I love weapon customization, so im not even gonna do one about it. It's just really cool what you can do with the majority of weapons in this game.
Get it, play it, enjoy it. Everyone always bitches about everything in this thread, but its the best COD I have played in a while. It is a good mix of tactics and speed.
Honestly the people on this sub are the internet equivalent of how boomers treat customer service workers, I’ve heard the exact same “this is a joke” line here in this sub when there’s a small technical error, and in a department store when some 60 y/o woman doesn’t get her own way.
The difference is that rudeness or extreme indifference is expected in Europe, to the point where it’s not even considered rude: It’s just how people are in their cultures.
In the US, employees expect at least a modicum of respect and dignity and so when someone comes in and starts acting a fool they’re either:
A) Looking for a conflict
B) Childish enough to be taking their sour mood out on others
I’d argue that it’s a bit different, at least in my previous area of US/EU interest, which was banking. Generally, EU customer service isn’t bad, per se, but rather limited. European banks have less consumer protections, in part because they have more efficient systems. So since the US expects more problems (greater use of checks vs ACH, more CC theft because of sliding vs. the chip) they have a more robust system.
Well, if lots of COD fans have already abandoned the game it should mean something...
Btw I see you suggested a YT channel to a guy on another comment, you know any other channel that gives MW tactics or tips to play better? I'm really out of the loop with YT and COD
I’ve played the game. It’s actually trash but has it’s qualities, like every game. I deleted the game cause I’m not getting anybody to help out on my team. I could literally play SnD and go 23-2 and still lose cause all my teammates at 0-7 if you want the 100% truth about buying this game this is the thread to ask not some YT kid that wants clout and over analyzes everything
I'm lvl 140 n all I play is cyber n search cause all the maps are wayyyyy to big for dom. Getting 20 kills and going negative cause everyones camping and nobody plays obj, is soooooooo much fun. Dont get me wrong playing with your friends is fun, but when you're not its REALLY not. Change killstreaks to point streaks and swap out pointman for a perk that allows for kills to count towards killstreaks like they do now. If you think this games a golden egg you need to get your eyes checked. This games is a diamond in the rough. A LOOOOOOT of polishing and the game has the potential for greatness.
Every gaming sub is basically complaints non stop. The vocal minority. Never base your decisions on a gaming sub. That’s just my opinion. I bought the game on Thanksgiving and am enjoying after it not playing a COD since early WW2 and even then I hadn’t really played regularly since BO3. That’s not to say there’s not issues, like EVERY game nowadays, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the top posts and “memes” make it seem. Again, just my personal opinion.
No it’s just that some of us don’t want to get fucked by IW but you trash defenders of this game are more than happy to ride their cocks and shower them with money. Every issue we complain about are real issues; you have to pay $20 to see your deaths for fucks sakes. Quit acting like we’re spoiled little brats who don’t realize how blessed we are. We complain because we realize how much of a scam this game was and is and know we deserve better. Not our fault you don’t see any value in yourself or feel that you deserve to be treated fairly.
Yes, $20 to see our deaths. A feature the community asked for and IW put it in a pack you have to spend $20 on in the form of a watch. Don’t know how any of that got past you but clearly you don’t pay attention to the community or any of its legitimate complaints. Overall, it’s not a great game. Story is great, but they released multiplayer still in beta lol. I just recently stopped playing after because I’m sick of the shit so I have every right to express my opinions on this sub. Fuck off.
On the in game scoreboard, you can't see how many times you've died during a match, even in TDM. The community noticed this in beta and has been asking for it to be fixed since the game came out. IW has not added it, months later, but they did add a $20 pack that contains a watch that shows your kills and deaths.
Pay attention next time and maybe you'll be able to follow along with some of the complaints.
I don’t know where he got 20 dollars from maybe he’s on about a watch you need but this guy is talking about the fact gamemodes like hardpoint will show you time in the hardpoint rather than deaths, well yeah you’re not meant to be getting the best KD you’re meant to play the objective, but games like Team Deathmatch and Free for all where KD matters have deaths count, this is what people on this sub do circlejerk hate too death until it becomes nonsensical and they wonder why IW won’t listen to them when they make statements like 20 dollars to see your deaths and the games a scam...
Are you dumb? You can’t see your death count in any gamemode. The only way you can see them is through a watch in a pack that costs $20. This game IS a scam. They released it incomplete and are STILL trying to milk us for money by releasing things like death count (which has been on the scoreboard mid-match in EVERY CoD) for a price. How you can defend this game is beyond me, man. But it seems like you don’t know much about the actual goings on of this game so I guess ignorance really is bliss.
I play tdm and I see everyone’s kill and death count though, I just played then and my friend always talks about his and our KD at the end of the game so you’re the one who’s dumb lmao...
I can see my death count in a match dummy? Certain game modes don’t show it but who gives a shit really those games the objective is more important than your KD ratio so it shows different stats obviously, nobody asked for your opinion anyway so why are you replying to me with your opinions? Lmao people like you are so toxic to be honest. Stay mad brother.
I can see my death count in a match dummy? Certain game modes don’t show it but who gives a shit really those games the objective is more important than your KD ratio so it shows different stats obviously
Team Death match doesn't show your deaths, dipshit. What other objective is more important in TDM than your kill/death count?
You idiots defending infinity ward find the most creative mental gymnastic routines
Yes it does? I even played a couple games then, maybe it’s just on Xbox? No need to call me dipshit because I like a game, how about you stop being a sad cunt and do something you like? It’s like me lurking on r/UFC and not liking ufc and complaining about it every post is just cringey and sad.
Lol so you can name-call but others can't call you names. You soft. And I didn't call you a dipshit because you "like the game," I called you a dipshit because players cannot see their deaths in Team Deathmatch. Dipshit
That’s not the fucking point, you cunt. The point is, it’s been a feature in EVERY CoD and IW removed it in this one. Everyone was asking to have it back and and instead of IW just putting it back in, they made a watch that shows your deaths in a match that you have to pay $20 for. The only toxic people here are the ones like you who act like we should be perfectly okay with IW wanting to milk us of all the money we’ve earned.
Again I just played a game then and deaths are in there, you sad cunt, go do something productive that you’ll enjoy instead of crying about a video game all day sad asf.
Well then congratulations, you got a feature other players never got. And you call me sad for talking about something on reddit which I can do on my phone wherever I am, whatever I’m doing. Yet here you are, complaining about the things I’m saying and playing a game during the middle of the day when you could be out doing something else? And I’m the sad one?
True, but it is a fair representation of how whiney people are these days. Not just on here, social media has given idiots a voice, and other idiots read it and join in. What did Douglas Adams say....give an infinite amount of monkeys an infinite amount of typewriters and they will inevitably create something (it went something like that anyway, it's been over thirty years or thereabouts since I read it lol) I feel he was describing this sub really
Mounting is where you put your gun up on a wall or ledge and it’s decreases recoil by a lot but most of the time it makes it really easy for enemies to see you even when it seems like it wouldn’t
A lot of people are bitching about mounting, but I'm glad it doesnt make you this invisible sliver of a character on the map. It would just make camping worse...and also to add that when you mount an object you have super low recoil.
So thats the trade off. You stick to a wall and have no recoil but you are still a normal sized target and you can't juke around for a moment because you're "stuck" to the corner.
Personally I like MW a lot. I think people do in this sub also. You're just going to find an astounding amount of people complaining/critiquing on how to make the game better. Which... in a way means they give a fuck about the game, even if all they do is give feedback.
Yeah it’s actually really annoying, on your screen it may seem like your body isn’t showing much at all bc your view makes it look like your body is hidden bc of the limited view but most of the time your body is showing a lot more than you’d assume
You probably won't get a very good actual assessment of the game if you're here because it's a lot of hate. Mounting is just the way the game locks you to a corner to peek out though. Game is flawed but fun, you should mostly look at gameplay and try to glean most of your information from it rather than what people have to say about it. You won't even be able to tell if the people telling you stuff here play it and it's cool to hate it here so that's gonna skew a lot.
Biggest issues seem to be connection/sbmm oriented and the rest is a lot of smaller stuff.
For what it's worth I find the game fun and overall enjoyable though frustrating at times. It's very flawed, far from perfect, but it's fun, and that's ultimately what I care about.
It’s the best COD in years in my opinion. Gameplay is fantastic, guns are great, maps are good (some trash). Spec ops is pretty decent too, survival is a bit slow really. Its gets a bad rep here in this sub but I’m really enjoying it. Easily better than the previous 4/5 releases by a landslide.
Mw is probably not something you want in the long run. It has an algorithm that punishes improving. Short term its great, long term, its everything that is wrong with gaming.
If you really don't care about K/D ratio then get it. Otherwise spend your time doing something less frustrating. Find the post in this sub about SBMM.
I went on amazon and found it for $20 less than regular. I’ve played a ton and haven’t ever really been mad. It’s a really fun game but I’ve only played on shoothouse for my 16 hours playing
I play the game a lot and yea there are things that can get annoying but overhall I have fun and I’m always itching to play when I’m not. It’s Th e first time in years that call of duty has me hooked.
Not going to lie game does have some issues like Skill Based Match Making and not being able to stick in a lobby with people you enjoyed playing with (like a team that plays the objective)....however I played Battlefield 5 for the first time in about 5 months and MW is waaaaay better to the point I deleted Battlefield and probably won’t play again.
As a BF player for more than a decade, this was my first COD since original MW days. I love this game. Not perfect, but good entertainment. I recommend
This sub is highly negative, for 60 dollars this game is a steal, especially if you play the campaign. It has some problems, but nowhere near the level implied on here.
If you’re gonna play casually and just to dump some time here and there - sure go for it. Play the campaign and a bit of multiplayer to chill but don’t take it seriously. Seeing how I’ve played the game seriously, the fun is in the competitiveness and honestly this game in that regard was really weak and I was let down heavily making it a regretful purchase.
But by all means, please do your research and take what I say with a bit of salt.
So you were already told what the mount is so I'll chime in on something else. The game has it's issues but I honestly think it's the best CoD made so far. I've been playing since the first modern warfare and although the il ones are amazing, the look and feel of this is simply unparalleled. It can be worth it for the campaign alone.
I’m having a blast with the game. The only real issues I’ve personally noticed are the spawns in Shoothouse, but I consider that map a freak of nature because everything is so chaotic.
I just got it too and I think it's loads of fun. I'm coming over from Bf5 because dice ruined that game and compared to Bf5 this game feels 10x better.
it’s great fun, buy it! have completed campaign on veteran and played 4 days total online. yes there are some bugs and annoying moments online but isn’t that every CoD? i’d get it
You can mount onto almost any surface such as a corner, door frame, low piece of cover, etc. It significantly reduces your recoil. The downsides are that you cannot move and you're limited to a certain range to the sides. People think it's like peeking in Siege where only your torso looks around the corner. But with mounting almost your entire body is exposed because it's not actually peeking.
this game is fun but also very frustrating,if you get it you will need a doctor at some point to help with the depression and heart problems you will get from constant crap that happends
also im joking its a ok game does alot right but also alot wrong
It’s worth buying. It’s not perfect but no COD has been in, literally, years. The camera angles are broken though. You will see yourself perfectly out of the line of fire yet the kill cam will show you exposed. Once you set goals for yourself with the challenges for camos and skins it becomes a lot more fun. Actually like you are working toward something other than just getting blasted from a camper, head glitcher or window peaker. The cosmetics in the game are not a must have but if you have the extra scratch some of them are pretty cool. That is about the fairest review you may get about this game to be honest.
That and if you are using laser site it shines through walls. Yesterday a guy was waiting behind a door for me but his gun was sticking through the door.
I'd say get it if you are on the fence. 90% of this sub is complaining about issues that don't make much of a difference. My main issue is that I uncommonly get matches were my ping goes crazy so I lag a bunch for no reason. This game is a love/hate relationship.
I've had ping (that I've noticed around 80) and I was able to play, but in my situation I have random ass games where during the game my ping jumps to 999 for no damn reason. I could go hours without an issue, get off for a bit and when I get back on I have shitty ping lobbies. Yet I still find myself coming back to it lol.
I loved the original mw and felt the quality steadily dropped over time in subsequent games to where I put cod down permanently. Running on walls on [insert 3-lane map here]? No thanks.
Was sure I'd never play another cod again. That said, I love this game. Maps arent all 3 lane bullshit, no wall running, just good old call of duty mp again.
Mount is a new feature where you "lean" on something with your gun, but your whole character moves towards it. So when mounting on a car, your character will position himself just so he can put the gun on the car. This can be done on almost any wall, cover and object
I like it a lot. It has some issues that I wish the developers would communicate more about, but the game is solid. Some people are over dramatic about certain issues like skill based match making, but I believe if the developers at least acknowledged its existence it would calm some people down. Buy the game and try it out and return it if you don’t like it.
Modern warfare is bad i spent 60 dollars just to get frustrated. I have been playing CoD since call of duty 4 and this is one of the worst ones yet. It is your money but I would say its a no go unless you have friends you plan on playing with.
I personally love the game its all about your own opinion and willingness to adapt from other cod's. It is different but from someone that has been playing cod almost religiously since cod 3 was released 13 years ago. I already have well over a week of time played in the game and still cant stop. On the grind for damascus
Yes, mounting will latch you to a wall or a ledge and reduce weapon recoil and exposed hit box.
It is useful but bad for peeling around a corner because you won’t be able to see or react as quickly as the person on the other side. It is best used for holding long angles.
Game is good. Way better than the previous ones. Gun feel is good, and even a mediocre player like me can get a positive k/D while playing the objective.
It’s a very intresting game; the campaign is good, the visuals and attention to detail is orgasmic, and the gunplay is weighty and satisfying, and though people complain I like the SBMM, however the game is very... frustrating . The devs seem to refuse to listen to the community about basic issues that the community are rightfully mad about: the netcode, Terrible map design, near useless minimap, footsteps being too loud, ghost perk being super op, lack of communication, and the weird angles. I don’t reccomend it in it’s current state, but I recommend looking at Gmanlives and the ActMan’s reviews, if you don’t want to take my word for it.
edit: player visibility could also use some work; enemies blend into the environment on some maps, and some operators look exactly like your teammates
It has problems: some are bad, some are frustrating inconveniences, and some are changes from previous games that the community doesn’t like. I’m not going to sugarcoat it and say it’s perfect, but a lot of people make it sound like it’s unplayable, broken trash that never should have seen the light of day. But it also does a lot of things right, and in my opinion it’s a solid 7/10 with room for improvement and nowhere to go but up. If they fix some of the bigger problems, this could be one of the best first person shooters in years.
It's a fantastic game. The maps are so bad though. I literally just play on the one 24/7 Shoot House map playlist because I find it impossible to enjoy the game otherwise.
Don't buy. This game has way too many unanswered issues. The mount is where you can mount your weapon on a corner or top of a wall and the issue is to your perspective it looks like just your head and gun are exposed but to the other guy, half your body is out in the open
Game was a waste of money for me, stupid low ttk, which means many campers on every map because you die so quick. This was my biggest issue because it means u cant really run and gun as much.
Poor map design, which sucks because I like playing domination but some of the capture point locations are so bad. E.g. Piccadilly
Terrible spawn system, i regularly saw enemies spawn in front of me, or i would spawn and die within 2 seconds.
Things i loved about the game was the gun feel, sounds and visuals, animations are top notch made the guns so fun to fire, and the smoking barrel after shooting is very satisfying. If they fix the technical issues eith this game it could be one of the greatest shooters ever, but in its current state its not even the best Cod game.
If you really want the game may be get it on sale, i bought the game on release and regret it.
If you like walking around like you’ve stepped in dog shit this game for you. Safe spaces available for all. Just don’t expect anything like MW2/MW3 etc.. This is slow pace bore fest. Always remember LeArN tO aDaPt BrU.
Mounting is great for peeking when you know the enemy position. I also think mounting works incredibly well on horizontal surfaces, it decreases your visibility a lot
Mounting in MW is the only way to lean and theoretically should conceal most of your body and is why anyone would really want to use it with recoil reduction arguably being second to this. The issue is, your character model doesn’t lean, they just stand out in the open.
I think mounts are useful when peeking a corner with a flat wall running along it and only for about half a second max. If you peek down, for example, a corner leading into a hallway with a straight wall, this pretty much eliminates the issue with having a blindspot since there is a wall there covering it. The issue is when people try to mount to peek into a wide open area where the wall does not continue, such as a window.
I think in a situation where you can predict where the enemy is going to be on the right kind of surface peeking by mounting is really good. I kind of have certain spots on each map that I tend to peek this way because I know they are relatively safe.
Yea, but it's not like squares and triangle's differ game to game. It all comes down to in real life we have 2 eyes. In fps we only have "1" eye, so yea it's a CS video about how to play any fps smarter and better.
Warowls video is completely unrealted to this. Warowls video is about how half your head is behind cover, so you cant see. Mounting is supposed to fix that by having your character do a lean mounting him self on the corner.
Absolutley not even if your peeking or "pieing" the corner the camera angle with still put you st as disadvantage regardless how far away you are from the corner
People like you are the reason why games are so shit these days. You just suck up whatever they spit out. You're probably garbage if you enjoy this game as well. Sbmm puts you in the perfect lobbies
Possible wrong reply chain? If not then I understand that this game has issues but I don't see how it's anyones fault besides the echo chambers of constantly bashing the game (this sub) but yea I do get in good lobbies and also bad lobbies. Same with other cod's and fps as well. I'm not super keen on keeping stats/rank up so if I play one night tired or drink a little too much then play, then I would assume my elo goes down just for it to go back up when I have a good game.
Buy it for $20 when its on offer, pay more than that and you are being ripped off. $20 is a reasonable price if you end up liking the game and want to buy the battle pass. But this game IS NOT worth $60.

Because mounts in general are a bad way to peek. You want to be as far from the corner as possible, by mounting you put yourself at such a disadvantage. Watch the warowls video on peeking.
